Ma.K Female Pilot
200 mm conversion
I'm primarily a figure modeler. Unfortunately there are few Maschinen Kreiger figures available,
especially in the sizes I prefer. So I had this kit that I picked up years ago. I started thinking,
hmmmm, with a little putty and some effort, I could make her look similar to the one at the end of
the MaK BD book.
The finished figure is here
This is how the figure comes stock
So, I needed shorts and a leather helmet. It's not done, but it is started. I still needs socks and the feet are wonky so it
would stand straight. They are not glued yet.
Sculpting is done, the paint job is started with a basic flesh coat using Tamiya flesh,  I thin with denatured alcohol. I'll
finish this off with oil paint from Windsor and Newton brand
Some of the basic colors laid in, no shading done yet, the eyes have been blocked in. I need to clean them up. It's
really difficult to get a brush in with her hand and arm in the way. I am also going to lighten the shorts up some, these
are too brown.
Basic face laid in. I know she looks like the Joker now. After the oils I think she will turn out quite nice
Started on the skin with the oil paint. Huge color difference when viewed next to each other. NEXT time I'll custon mix
the tamiya when I airbrush it. Jeesh its ugly now..........
