This is my attempt to come up with a mobile trailer for the NS465 Neuspotter , the AI Drone in
the Ma.K universe. I have a Jeep to go woth this started. It's 1/25, not 1/20, but I think the
smaller size actually helps to convey the effect I am after. This started as part of the trailer from
the Tamiya Dragon Wagon. It's got some Soviuet SAM launcher parts, a few tank bits, sheet
plastic. There will be an access ramp on the back for the crew, and probably some sort or
stabilizing arm that clamps the "stalk" of the Neu when in motion. It's still a work in progress.
Added the access ramp. It's supposed to fold up when transporting. The
small wheel on the side would control the winch. I guess...
Finally got some work done on the travel lock. I had almost no kit parts that I
could really use, so this one is almost all styrene and some brass rod. All the
joints work. The lock is only placed on in these pics, so the alignment is off, but I
just wanted to check.
I think I may use some putty and sculpt a really thin layer inside the part that
grabs the stalk to look like leather padding. Maybe. The 'grabber' is held on by
tension only, I just could face trying to make some kind of working bit for that.

OK, construction shall cease. Enough already. I'm going to take Bryan Kreugers
suggestion and go with a grey green for painting. The travel lock is fully
poseable, I got all the hinges and articulation points to actually work! whoo hoo,
what will it matter when I glue the unit to it? I'll leave the bracing as is, I think it's
enough for transport across the airfield and as a base unit. It's not meant for
cross country. Have I mentioned how much I just LOVE the Brick Works Ma.K
figures? The mechanic is awesome, the technician that I just received is even
better! I hope to work them both into the diorama I'm planning.

Initial painting has begun. The base coat is a grey green. I will try and keep the
weathering light as this is a unit that stays at the base, so it should not be too
filthy. All I have done is a few light washes and filters. I thought I was done adding
detail, but decided that I needed to make a rest for the travel lock when it swings
back, and I will also add two hydraulic lines from the top down through the two
line stays and through the bottom D ring into the base. Stop me before I detail
again...
Painting is done, just have to weather the tires with pigments.
